Who are we?
Idaho Pet Aquamation is a family-owned business based in Nampa, Idaho, and the first dedicated pet aquamation provider in the Treasure Valley. We provide compassionate, eco-friendly pet aftercare through aquamation, also known as water cremation, a gentle, water-based alternative to traditional flame cremation.
We proudly serve pet owners and veterinary clinics throughout the Treasure Valley, including Boise, Meridian, Star, Eagle, Kuna, Nampa, and Caldwell. Our goal is to give families a meaningful, environmentally conscious alternative when saying goodbye to a beloved pet.
As lifelong pet lovers and proud owners of two border collies and a cat, we understand how deeply animals become part of the family. What is aquamation?
Aquamation, also known as alkaline hydrolysis or water cremation, is a gentle, eco-conscious alternative to traditional flame cremation. This water-based process uses a combination of water, heat, and alkaline compounds to accelerate the natural decomposition process, mimicking what occurs in nature when an animal passes. Aquamation is 90% more energy-efficient than flame cremation and produces no harmful greenhouse gas emissions.
